Second Seminar on project progress
On December 7, 2015 at 10:00 a seminar on the progress in the implementation of the project entitled “Improving energy efficiency in the buildings of Regional Hospital in Kolobrzeg” was held. The project is financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2009-2014, the Programme PL04 “Saving energy and Promoting renewable energy sources”.
The conference was opened by the director of the Regional Hospital Grzegorz Sosna. After welcoming the guests and introducing the subject of the meeting spoke Mrs. Anna Mieczkowska, a Member of the Board of the Westpomeranian Region, who highlighted the impact of the project undertaken for the development of the hospital and its benefits.
Then there was a presentation of the progress made by the hospital since the beginning of the work up to now, the most important events of the project and achieved indicators. Another point of the seminar was the presentation of other projects that have acquired funding under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area, for example Regional Medical Center in Białogard titled The effectiveness of thermo-modernisation in public buildings.
The conference was completed with workshops of good practice during which beneficiaries discussed the various issues and exchanged gained experience.
Execution of construction works performed under the project entitled. “Improving energy efficiency in the buildings of Regional Hospital in Kolobrzeg ‘:
1. Elevation of the buildings
Ongoing work of thermo-modernization of the buildings.
Building A – The parts of the building from the side of the Drzewny Canal are being finished
Building B – The work connected to the elevation of the part of the building from the side of the Drzewny Canal was completed, still ongoing work in the part of the building from the driveway for ambulances
Building C – advanced works on finishing elevation
Building D – completed elevation works
Connectors E, F and G – the completed elevation works
Currently, securing the foundations of bituminous insulation and installation of a waterproof styrofoam aforementioned in previosuly mentioned buildings are being done.
2. Installation of central heating
Completed installation of central heating and the exchange of radiators. Launched a new node heating. Work associated with thermal insulation and heating divisions buildings is being carried out.
3. Installation of solar collectors
Completed the installation of solar panels on the roofs of the buildings A, B and C and supplied the solar exchanger equipment. Ongoing work on the connection of the instalaltion and electronic control system.
4. Installation of new hot water risers has been begun
